Welcome

I am Jess Lovell

I offer art and ritual based therapy to walk beside you in life’s deep threshold spaces. I specialise in facilitating expression, holding space and deepening into the wisdom of life’s big initiations of Motherhood and grief.

Come join me for rich, gently powerful and playful self inquiry.

I offer individual expressive arts therapy sessions in Greensborough and online. I also offer expressive arts therapy sessions for NDIS participants who are self- and plan-managed.

What is art and ritual based therapy?

I facilitate art making and hold ritual space to support meaning making and reclamations. My approach is trauma informed and person centred and sits in the counselling and psychotherapy frameworks.. I privilege lived experience and multi modal making. Together, this is how we do it…

We’re a good fit if…

  • Motherhood isn't business as usual! You feel changed in ways you can't articulate.

  • Motherhood is calling you to grow/grieve/claim/speak/stretch in ways you didn't know were possible... and there is no road map that you know of.

  • You birthed like a warrior goddess and are wondering what else you might be capable of.

  • You wanted to birth like a warrior goddess, but ended up feeling unempowered by your birth experience.

  • You are craving time to meet the new you amongst the rocky landscape of Motherhood.

  • You opened your heart fully to Motherhood, and now your heart is breaking.

  • You are not a Mother, but you are a teenager or adult yearning to try a dynamic approach of working with your trauma/mental health because you've become stagnant in the conventional talk therapy approach

  • Grief has landed in your world and you need support to find expression for it…
